gwenmccreadie.com is proud to be supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care in raising funds for this very worthwhile charity, which provides high quality nursing care for terminally ill patients.
Class Advisor Evelyn McCafferty was invited to attend Dens Park on Saturday 24th March with Petra McMillan, the patron for the charity in Dundee, to raise awareness of the upcoming fundraising events and also our healthy lifestyle eating plan. A signed Dundee FC top and a football were presented to Evelyn’s son Ciaran at half time. These will be raffled during an event at a local hair salon on April 21st.
gwenmccreadie.com has 65 clients abseiling down Dundee University Tower Building on Saturday 2nd June, to raise funds for the charity. The abseil will be a great day out for everyone, many of whom will be facing their fear of heights on the day.
A charity walk is being held on August 4th at Hill of Tarvit in Fife. This is part of the national Marie Curie Walk Ten event. The walk begins at 7pm, and is followed by a picnic on the lawn, with live music, and a big celebration to mark the start of the Marie Curie nightshift.
Daffodil Boxes – a thank you

A hearty congratulations to one and all at gwenmccreadie.com Your clients raised a massive £214.01 for Marie Curie Cancer Care through our Great Daffodil Appeal boxes in March.This will 'buy' more than 10 hours of care for a terminally ill person in our area, allowing them the dignity of free professional nursing care in their own home where they most want to be.
Our HQ will send you a letter of thanks soon but I wanted to be the first to convey our warmest thanks and best wishes to all your clients for their support and generosity.Your support helps not just patients but their families cope during the often overwhelming experience of terminal illness.
